JEE Main Admit Card 2023 to release soon on, here’s how to check January session hall ticket

JEE Main Admit Card 2023: The National Testing Agency, NTA is soon expected to release the admit card for JEE Main January Session Examination-2023. The Joint Entrance Examination is scheduled to begin on January 24, 2023. After the announcement of JEE Main hall ticket, registered candidates will be able to check and download their hall ticket from the official website at
JEE Main Session 1 will be conducted from January 24 to February 01, 2023. The exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Once the hall ticket is out, the candidates who have registered for the exam can follow the below mentioned steps to check and download the JEE Main Admit Card 2023.

How to download JEE Main January Session Hall Ticket 2023?
Step 1. Visit the official website at
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link for JEE Main Admit Card 2023
Step 3. Now, login using the application number and password
Step 4. Your admit card will open on the screen
Step 5. Download and take a printout of the Main hall ticket for future reference
Important Note: Candidates are advised to carry a copy of JEE admit card on the date of examination. No candidate will be allowed to sit in the exam without an admit card and a valid photo ID.

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023
The Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) comprises two papers.
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It will be of 90 marks divided into 3 sections; Physics-30, Maths-30 and Chemistry-30.
Paper 2 (B.Arch/ B. Planning) is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country. It will be of 82 and 105 marks respectively.

Documents required on the date of examination
(i) Print a copy of JEE Hall Ticket along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website.
(ii) One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at centre during the examination.
(iii) Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid, and non-expired) – School Identity Card/ PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Ration Card with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
(iv) PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category OR PwD Certificate regarding physical limitation in an examination to write as per Annexure given in Information Bulletin, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.
(v) A simple transparent BallPoint Pen.

JEE Main 2023 Syllabus – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

JEE Main 2022 Session-I
The JEE Main–2022 Session-I was conducted by NTA from June 24 to 30, 2022. A total of 8,72,432 candidates had registered for the entrance examination. As per the official data, 14 candidates scored 100 NTA Score in JEE Main Session 1 exam. Three of the top five candidates were from the state of Telangana, one from Haryana and another from Andhra Pradesh. Telangana’s Jasti Yashwanth V V S topped the Mains exam followed by Haryana’s Sarthak Maheshwari.

  1. When will the JEE Main exam 2023 be conducted?

    As per the schedule, JEE Main will be conducted from January 24 to January 31, 2023. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
  2. What to do if you are unable to download the admit card?

    In case a candidate is unable to download his/her Admit Card from the website, he/she should approach the NTA helpline number: 011-40759000 between 10.00 A.M. to 05.00 P.M.
  3. My name on the admit card is spelled incorrectly, what should I do?

    In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signature shown in the e-Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the NTA helpline from 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. In such a case, the candidate would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.
  4. I have lost my admit card, will I be issued a duplicate admit card at the examination centre?NO, under no circumstances the duplicate Admit Card for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2023 would be issued at the Examination Centres.
  5. Will the NTA send the admit card by post?

    NO, the JEE admit cards will not be sent by post.
  6. Will there be a re-test for the candidates who miss the JEE Main exam 2023?

    For those who are unable to appear on the scheduled date of the test for any reason, a re-test shall NOT be held by the NTA under any circumstances.
  7. Who will bear the travelling expenses if the examination centre is in different cities?

    Candidates will appear at their own cost at the centre on the date and shift as indicated in their Admit Card issued by the NTA. Under no circumstances the choice of cities for the Centre and shift provided in the Admit Card shall be changed.
