Hubballi: FUEL Business School of Pune invites applications for the postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) course which offers 100% scholarship for 60 girl students. On Thursday, chief mentor Santosh Huralikoppi said there has been an intake of 120 students for the PGDM course, in which 60 girls will get 100% scholarship from the Oracle company under its Corporate Social Responsibility programme. For the two-year course, it will cost around Rs 8 lakh for each student. Those who are selected under the ‘CSR Impact Scholarships’ will get free college, accommodation and books. Students who have completed graduation can apply for the course before August 15, he said. The institute also offers a three-year BBA course and there will be 160 seats. They are trying to tie up with some corporate companies to provide scholarships, he added.

Fashion show to be held
Hubballi: International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) is organising a fashion show and fashion Design SILHOUETTE; season 06 on July 29 at Cubic Hotel, Hubballi. Institution director Jyothi Bidasaria said, “Our institute is one of the global and largest networks of design institutes. Every year INIFD, Hubballi student designers showcase their collections at the annual fashion show. This year the students created designer garments with various themes which speak about the current fashion movement.” She said, Zilla Panchayat CEO Swaroopa TK will inaugurate the function and 37 students of 16 teams are participating in the competition.

Mutalik slams Cong govt
Dharwad: Sri Ram Sena chief Pramod Mutalik on Thursday accused the Congress government in the state of trying to hush up the case of videography in Udupi and said the government was meting out injustice to the victim. He accused the Popular Front of India of masterminding such activities. Mutalik said home minister G Parameshwar was trying to play down the incident as part of the Congress’ policy of appeasement of Muslims. He said after Congress came to power in Karnataka, the incidents of assaults on and humiliation of Hindus have increased. Referring to Congress MLA Tanveer Sait’s letter, Mutalik said Congress was always supporting anti-Hindu and criminal elements.
‘Super Samsaara’ play in twin cities this weekend
Dharwad: Guru Institute, Hubballi, will present Kannada comedy play ‘Super Samsaara’ directed by Yashwant Sardeshpande in Hubballi and Dharwad on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, at 6.30pm. On Saturday, the play will be staged at Sawai Gandharva Hall. On Sunday, the show will be at Srujana auditorium. Sardeshpande is known for his comedy plays ‘All the Best’, ‘Sahi Re Sahi’, ‘Raashi Chakra’ among others. The shows are sponsored by Pandit Puttaraj Gawaigala Kala Pratishtana. ‘Super Samsaara’ is the translation of Marathi play by famed playwright Santosh Pawar. Third anniversary of NEP-2020
Belagavi: Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3, Machhe, Belagavi, celebrated the third anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020. During the event, the panel discussed the impact of the NEP-2020 on the education system and the progress made so far.
