The management of the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica hotel in St. Ann has launched an investigation into this morning’s fire that injured two of its team members.
The hotel’s director of internal organisation and corporate social responsibility, Fabian Brown, told Radio Jamaica News that the fire started in one of the hotel’s 10 restaurants.
He said the two workers who suffered injuries were treated and taken home.
He noted that a probe is being conducted to determine the cause of the fire.
Mr. Brown said operations continue at both the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica and the Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway resorts.
