SriLankan Cares, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm, and the Engineering Division of SriLankan Airlines, have launched ongoing community project, ‘A Day with a Plane’ to provide youngsters an opportunity to learn about aircraft. Here, students from Walpola Sri Rathanasara Primary School, the Vocational Training Institute in Seeduwa, and Ananda Balika National School in Hingurakgoda, visiting the airline’s engineering hangar, onboard an Airbus aircraft and being briefed about airplanes.
